Duties and Responsibilities:
The following responsibilities are subject to change as circumstances require and as proficiency is demonstrated:
- The complete Accounts Payable function
- Preparing documents and customer invoices for shipments/containers
- Job costing
- Pricing and cost analyses
- Calculating and analyzing key performance indicators monthly and weekly
- Payroll support and some payroll preparation
- Reviewing General Ledger transactions and providing financial analysis
- Monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts
- Other tasks as assigned
Education and Experience
- Applicants must be working toward an accounting designation (CGA or CMA)
- Experience in accounts payable and payroll will be preferred
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and Quickbooks is desirable
- Good communication skills and attention to detail are required
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines will be preferred
Position: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours per week)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Ottawa (Office located a few kms east of downtown)
Compensation: Depending on experience.

Purchasing & Business Development Support Coordinator
We are currently looking to expand our Purchasing and Business Development team and are seeking at least 2 individuals who can help us grow our business. These roles are critical to our ongoing growth strategy. These roles combine a number of interesting skills including research (telephone and internet based) looking for products and suppliers, customer service, sales and purchasing and soliciting prospective suppliers.
Candidates must have an excellent command of English and be comfortable communicating via telephone and have some experience in customer service and negotiating skills. Experience with Microsoft Excel is an asset.
We are currently looking for individuals at both the entry-level (e.g. just out of school with minimal job experience) or someone with 2-3 years of customer service and/or purchasing experience to join our diverse team.

- Online research
- Telephone solicitation
- Coordinating suppliers and customers
- Order processing
- Working closely with Sales, Logistics & Business Development teams to provide information related to new sources of product supply

Business Analyst
Bank & Vogue is also looking to fill the position of Business Analyst for it’s sister company, Beyond Retro. This position is based in Ottawa Canada at the parent holding company of Beyond Retro Limited, a UK based vintage clothing retailer. The Business Analyst (BA) provides expertise in the application and execution of sales analysis and plays a key role in supporting the business objectives. By delivering world class analytical solutions, this role enables our customers to ensure they have the right product in the right place at the right time.
Responsibilities
- Creation and analysis of demand planning to maintain a high accuracy in replenishment and sales forecasting;
- Data analysis, with understanding of retail business processes and products including historical data and trends;
- Lead analysis to extract, collect and analyze data, interpret results and pinpoint trends and or other details that will help support sales;
- Design, develop and automate analytical data;
- Provide a consultative approach in delivering relevant ideas, solutions and results;
- Share learning and best practices amongst peers and cross-functional teams;
- Work with various teams across the business to maximize processes as a result of analysis;
- Work to build, automate and implement reporting and predictive analytical methodologies that enable more profitable product and efficient pricing;
- Interpret, document and support the communication of data-driven retail insights by providing conclusions and recommendations based on analyzed data;
- Assist in managing the supply chain with analyzed data; and
- Analyze product sales to determine best vendors.
Job Qualifications:
- Strong experience analyzing data including extracting insights, linking to strategies and communicating a compelling summary of the findings to drive results;
- Experience in statistical analysis including forecasting sales and identifying trends;
- Experience in the application of statistical techniques/methodologies to solve business problems and further customer centric strategies;
- Strong computer skills, especially with extensive Excel experience. Use of Pivot tables and the latest versions would be a strong asset;
- Driven to improve processes and take initiative to highlight opportunities;
- Detail oriented and must be able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
- Capable of working in a team-oriented environment;
- Post-secondary education in Business, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics.
- 2-3 years experience in the retail/wholesale business would be an asset.
