We are Retailers and Manufacturers Too
Our extensive broker network is only part of our story. Bank and Vogue plays a broader role in the used goods industry. We are retailers, fundraisers, manufacturers and supporters of important community based projects. All of this experience informs us, affects us and makes us better at what we do.
So, when we talk to you about understanding some of your challenges, we know a bit about these experiences ourselves because we face some of the same challenges on a day to day basis.
As retailers, we operate 9 stores in the United Kingdom and Sweden under the award-winning brand Beyond Retro. Our eCommerce site www.beyondretro.com
is the “go-to” place for vintage and quality, on-trend used garments. Founded in 2002, we have been living the day to day life as retailers for many years. We understand and appreciate the importance of sourcing and receiving quality goods as there is a direct impact on sales and customer satisfaction. Keeping customers happy and returning is in our DNA.
In 2013 we launched our private line of clothing called Beyond Retro Label (http://www.beyondretro.com/en/beyondretrolabel)
using all recycled textile material. Beyond Retro Label us a creatively designed collection made from vintage pieces and fabrics. Inspired by the world of vintage product, reworked and redeveloped, Label is an ethical approach to producing amazing unique designs. This part of the business has taught us more about the importance of planning, communication, working together as a team and meeting production deadlines.
In addition to these business units, our work with charities and support of the Used Clothing Drive (www.usedclothingdrive.com
) and our work supporting the Karuna Orphanage located in Adipur Gujarat, India; the region where we manufacture Beyond Retro Label and is home to 50 girls ranging in age from 5-20 years old. The girls come to Karuna for basic needs and care as well as a formal education. With our fundraising efforts we are dedicated to offsetting the costs of housing and educating 50 girls at Karuna and well as paying the infrastructure bills such as the electricity. This very personal involvement brings us closer to the reason we all work for this great company and provide service to our suppliers and customers.
